Every week, I hop on Brand Message Assessments, and I come across the exact same issues: people feeling like there are a lot of changes happening in the online space, funnels that used to work aren't working anymore, and things simply feel off.

The coaching scene has changed dramatically, especially since everything went online in 2020. This shift has thrown a lot of us into new territory where old marketing tricks just aren’t cutting it anymore. If you're feeling this, know that it’s not just you. It’s a widespread challenge, but also a unique opportunity to redefine how we connect with our clients.

Let's talk about what are the things you need to focus on in order to navigate through these changes more effectively.

Speaking to and Enrolling the Right People

A critical aspect of successful high-ticket coaching is not just attracting any client but the right client. It's about quality over quantity. I feel like this is important because it ends up changing your entire message to be ALL about high quality.

The content you create can be much more refined and powerful if you are making sure that you are talking to the right people - which means you actually end up standing out more.

For example, I recently had a brand message assessment call with a potential client who, on paper, seemed ready. She had the necessary budget and a suitable business model. However, during our conversation, it became apparent through certain red flags that she wasn't a good fit for my program. She expressed a desire for quick results with minimal effort, which contradicts the commitment required in my coaching process.

This is a common scenario where moving forward could compromise the quality and outcomes of the coaching. Instead, I decided not to advance her to a sales call.

I feel like these decisions makes you more effective and actually allow you to grow your business even more.

Your Angle of Mastery and Proving Your Unique Perspective

Your 'Angle of Mastery' is your unique selling proposition that sets you apart from other coaches. It's not enough to just have a unique approach; you must also effectively communicate and prove its value to your potential clients.

Demonstrating your unique perspective involves more than stating what you do; it requires you to show how your specific methods achieve results. F

or example, if your coaching approach helps clients achieve breakthroughs through innovative mindset strategies, share case studies and testimonials that highlight these successes. Explain the foundational theories behind your methods and how they differ from conventional practices.

This not only helps to establish your credibility but also reassures potential clients that they are making a sound investment in a coach who truly understands and can address their specific needs in a unique and effective way.

Nurturing Relationships with Potential Clients

Building and nurturing relationships with your audience is crucial, especially in a market where the sales cycle is becoming increasingly extended. It's about creating a connection that transcends the typical client-coach dynamic.

For example, even when potential clients don't immediately sign up for your services, continue to engage with them through various channels. Send informative emails, share helpful videos, or host live Q&A sessions to address common concerns and questions.

This ongoing engagement demonstrates your commitment to their success, regardless of their immediate readiness to enroll in your program. Recently, we had clients who signed up within 48 hours of discovering us because they felt an instant connection with our message, which was clear, compelling, and consistently communicated across multiple platforms.

This kind of rapid conversion is rare but possible with well-nurtured leads who feel that they know, like, and trust you enough to make a quick decision.

I dive into the details of how to do this in my secret podcast series 'The Need-To-Have Formula' enter your name and email below for instant access.
